The Film Exhibition Fund offers grants to theaters, film centers, museums, and other organizations for the purpose of supporting the screening of celluloid film prints.

Our mission is to keep vital the crucial but endangered tradition of projecting celluloid film theatrically by providing grants to aid in paying growingly prohibitive costs: the shipment of film prints, projectionist fees, archival rentals, programmatic research, and other related expenses.

While a handful of works continue to be printed on film and money continues to be directed toward the restoration of old prints, there is a glaring absence of institutional support for exhibiting films for the public in the format that they were made. The Film Exhibition Fund intends to fill this gap and support the projection of film in all its glory for current and future generations.

Our board currently consists of Max Carpenter (Founder and President), Laura Major, Jake Perlin, and David Schwartz.
